An Eisenhower Fellow’s program is just the beginning of his or her lifelong participation in a global alumni network that makes a continuous impact in our global community, Network Plus was established to expand EF alumni activities throughout the world by conducting periodic conferences, seminars, and other professional gatherings.
Within the past several years, Eisenhower Fellowships has built up a new generation of young, internationally-minded leaders. They build on President Dwight Eisenhower’s vision that there is no substitute for face-to-face contact in overcoming mistrust, strengthening knowledge, and promoting collaboration. Our new event focus is designed to build on the diversity and intellectual vitality of the Fellows and to identify and confront global issues facing 21st century leaders.
The focus of these events will be topical and varied. Events will address topics such as::
- Business ethics and transparency;
- Regionalism;
- Workforce & talent development, and employee relations;
- Protecting the environment;
- Information technology;
- Health and safety issues;
- Human rights;
- Renewable energy; and
- Community engagement and development.
Events will provide opportunities for interaction, collaboration and problem-solving (regionally, nationally, and globally) among Fellows, trustees, sponsors, and friends of EF. They will also engage a broader domestic and global constituency, including nominating committee members, potential fellowship candidates, and members of like-minded associations, and will serve to inform the broader policy dialog on emerging global issues among leaders from many countries Eisenhower Fellowships' contribution to a more prosperous, just, and peaceful world.
